We put our values first ❤️

  1. You own your photos and stories, we only share them publicly (outside of the private community) with your express permission to help increase your positive impact in helping others through our platform and network. All photos or stories used in partnerships or other projects get an additional request for permissions that explain its use, whether payment is included or not, and all relevant details.
  2. We do our best to create a safe and private space online, which includes not tracking you through Google Analytics, Google Ads or the Facebook pixel. Our private community system (built through Mighty Networks) may have tracking that we cannot control at this point, however our network is private by default, only accessible to active members who are logged in and not indexed by Google (meaning your stories or any content within the community do not show up in Google results). We use a paid, private and simple analytics system that doesn’t track you to enhance the privacy of our website.
  3. We do not sell or use your data for anything other than enhancing our community. Our efforts are conscious on what data we collect, when and why to ensure that it’s only being used for purposes that help us grow our community and impact in an ethical way. Our goal is to foster a strong community and empower you to share stories and insights that help others, not scale and sell your data to advertisers.
  4. We’re a small and mighty team of two running all of this, so please be patient and considerate knowing we’re not some mega corporation with tons (or any) funding that’s looking to cash out on mental health. We’re just like you and working with the best tools we can find to help make an impact to reduce stigma and help us all feel less alone.
